About me

Hey, my name is Jasmin, I was born in July 1993 and I am from Austria. I was born and raised in Wels, Upper Austria. After school I decided to do a gap year as an au pair (Culture Care Au Pair) and went to the United States.

I lived in Rye Brook, New York for 10 months and then spent 1 month travelling across the United States by bus, from the east coast to the west coast (starting in New York and ending in San Diego).

After that I went to University in Salzburg to do my Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management. While doing my degree I did an exchange semester in Hong Kong at the Polytechnic University. It was an amazing time and my first time in Asia. I loved the different culture and travelled a lot around Asia at that time.

After graduating from university I went to China for 2 months (to Kunming) to do a chinese language course because the language seems really interesting to me. Unfortunately it was not a long time and I don’t even remember much of what I have learnt there. (but I am sure that in the future I will learn more!)

After that I moved to Valencia, Spain in April 2017. I was in Valencia on vacation with my family before and I loved the city and the weather so much, that I decided to move there. So here I am right now, living in Valencia and enjoying the amazing weather here. 🙂
